Pineapple Cake

 


Ingredients

Cake

1 1/3 cups white sugar
2 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
2 eggs
1/2 tsp salt
14 oz can crushed pineapple with juice

Icing

3/4 cup white sugar
1/2 cup cream or milk
1/2 cup butter
1 tsp vanilla

Directions

Beat egg slightly. Add all ingredients except flour. Mix all together. Add flour, mix well. Bake in 9x13 greased pan for 45 minutes at 350℉ oven. 

For the icing, bring sugar, cream or milk and butter to a boil. Remove from heat. Add vanilla and pour over hot cake. Serve with whip cream or vanilla ice cream (optional). It's a very moist cake and good without it.
